Day 1: Arrive in Akagera National Park and Boat cruise
Early morning, departure from Kigali to Akagera National Park (3 hour drive).
Upon arrival, the guests will enjoy a scenic game drive through the park
where they can spot giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes,
and elephants in their natural habitats.
After check in and taking Lunch at Mantis Akagera Game Lodge,
the guests will have an afternoon boat safari which offers close views of hippos,
Nile crocodiles and more bird species.

Day 2: Full Game drive and departure
Early morning, guests will check out from the lodge with packed lunches.

Day 1- Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
Arrive in Kigali, enjoy a stunning drive to Volcanoes National Park through
the beautiful hills of the Rwandan countryside.
The landscape of Volcanoes National Park is incredible with a
spectacular group of volcanoes.
Spend the evening relaxing at the lodge with dinner and drinks while preparing
for gorilla trekking the next morning.
Day 2 - Volcanoes National Park
The day includes gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park.
Wake up at sunrise and drive the short journey to the park headquarters
in Kinigi for a briefing where tea and coffee will be served before beginning
the adventure into the mountain forest.
Local porters can be arranged and help with the guide to complete
the gorilla tracking experience.
Tracking can be between 90 minutes and the whole morning depending
on guest abilities and what family group is assigned. Guests can spend
one hour with the gorilla communities, sometimes moving around to stay
with the gorillas or following them.
The guide will ensure you are in the best spots to take amazing photos and
enjoy a safe and memorable experience .
Next, guests will return to your hotel for leisure, food and drinks while preparing
for golden monkey tracking in the morning.
Day 3 - Volcanoes National Park to Kigali
The day includes golden monkey trekking.
Enjoy a hike to see the golden monkeys in a fun and exiting adventure
exploring the mountain forest.
Golden monkeys are named for their bright orange bodies.
These monkeys are indigenous to the region and more elusive than the local gorillas.
Next, guests will return to the hotel to prepare for the scenic drive
to Kigali in the afternoon.
